Reading articles
The web server records access and error logs needed to operate and troubleshoot the site. These can include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and response status. Access is restricted to the site operator and hosting administrators. The site’s current theme does not load advertising or analytics scripts.
Contact messages
The contact form collects the name, email address and message you provide. Messages are stored in the site’s WordPress database and shown privately to the administrator. They are used to review your request and, where appropriate, respond or correct the site. Avoid including sensitive information. A short-lived hashed network identifier is used to limit repeated submissions. Messages remain until the operator deletes them; deletion from active records may not immediately remove existing backup copies.
Browser storage
The light/dark appearance control stores your chosen theme in this browser’s local storage. Clearing site storage removes that preference. WordPress may use essential cookies for authenticated administration. Ordinary article reading does not require an account. The running-cost calculator calculates locally in your browser and does not submit its input values to the server.
